The history of this almond cookies starts from the beginning of the last century in the Abruzzo region when the farmers began to cook and eat them. It was usual during the most important periods of the year to dip inside an "Hot wine" particular almond biscuits called "Li Biscutt' tajate a man" (that means "the hand cut biscuits"), nowadays they are famous with the name of "Cantuccini". This tradition arrived us from the old recipes of our grandmothers.
